We begin with two nice photos of dance greats Eleanor Powell and Fred Astaire from Gary.  The film is Broadway Melody of 1940, also starring George Murphy.

Vladimir sent in a color photo of Sophia Loren and Alan Ladd in Boy on a Dolphin (1957).

Journeyman Joe has more peachy movie portraits for us:

Next up, Gene Tierney in costume for The Secret of Convict Lake (1951).

We end with a 1930's icon:  Stepin Fetchit (born Lincoln Theodore Monroe Andrew Perry).

Here are three spectacular color photos of Marilyn Monroe, courtesy of Joe.

Next up, six early photos of starlet Ann Sheridan from 1934-35, who was still calling herself Clara Sue Sheridan at that time.

Here's a new face:  Ruth Roland.  She was the other Queen of the Serials when movies were young.  Her film career lasted from 1908 to 1937.

Yvette Mimieux is wondering if anyone will remember this photo 50 years later.  Yes, we will.  Let's queue up a second one just for good measure.

Gary and Debbie prepared three pictures of Cary Grant, Betsy Drake, and George Winslow in Room for One More (1952).

Debbie found a fun shot of Frances Drake resisting (barely) Cary Grant in Ladies Should Listen (1933).  We added a bonus photo of her to round things out.  Then we added a third...this one, perhaps, is from the lost film Where Has My Belly Button Gone?.

Frances has a new picture of Dolores Del Rio in Revenge (1928).

Let's conclude with a new face today:  two photos of 1950's and 60's actress Leslie Parrish.

Joe has more great scans today:

Check out a great new Bela Lugosi blog, Vampire Over London:  Bela Lugosi in Britain, managed by Andi.  There are lots of great articles, clips, and other goodies highlighting an interesting phase of Lugosi's life.

Here's a color photo of Joan Collins from the mid-1950's, plus a bonus picture of pretty Joan Leslie, both courtesy of Frances.

Beautiful Pier Angeli makes a return visit.

Joe sent us two new photos:  Ina Balin in From the Terrace (1960), and Haya Harareet.

Enjoy this vintage shot of Eleanor Boardman in So This is Marriage? (1924).

Next we have a rare, late-career, non-Pageboy Louise Brooks photo from God's Gift to Women (1931).

After much sleuthing John identified a photo of Kim Novak as being from The Notorious Landlady (1962).

Here are three lovely ladies in the 1928 film, Excess Baggage Greta Granstedt, Josephine Dunn, and Kathleen Clifford.

Marion Davies and Leslie Howard are deep in thought in Five and Ten (1931).

Jeff identified an existing Merle Oberon picture as being from Lydia (1941).

We end with Yvette Mimieux—anyone nostalgic for the 60's?
