One good Powell deserves another! Here are
two pictures of perky songbird
Jane Powell, for Eric.
On another note―totally unrelated to the movies:
was there ever a better scherzo written than Felix Mendelssohn's third
movement lighter-than-air masterpiece in his first piano trio? I think
not! I listened to it while preparing these scans and, for the umpteenth
time, marveled at its delicacy, simplicity and perfection.
Anyway...back to the films. |

And don't miss this film clip of

Can you stand another
Gene Tierney picture?
Well, here she is―what a gorgeous girl! Juliana prepared this scan for
us. Thanks, Chickadee!
Also, over the next several days, we'll be introducing
a new feature:
The Annex. Pictures in
The Annex will be periodic
bonus photos for some of the stars showcased on our website. Although
these are not Doctor Macro scans, they are noteworthy pictures that will
round out our basic collection. These images have been
downloaded from the Internet.
They'll be on distinct Annex pages within our
website, and you'll be able to navigate to them from each star's regular
gallery. Our first Annex star is
Ingrid Bergman, with six new
images. We hope you enjoy them! |
