July 2010 Updates

August 2010

Here are three new scans for your enjoyment:

July 30, 2010

Vladimir shot the lights out with this super-sized scan of Jane Russell.

Here are two photos of William Haines in Just a Gigolo (1931), with Lilian Bond, Ann Dvorak, and C. Aubrey Smith.

Next, say hello to Martha Vickers.  We have three shots of the pretty actress, including two with Jack Carson and Dennis Morgan out on the golf course.

July 22, 2010

Rikke's back, after a long absence, with two photos of Charlie Chaplin in Limelight (1952), including one with Nigel Bruce and Sydney Chaplin.

Chris resumes that Canadian feeling with Paulette Goddard tending to Robert Preston in North West Mounted Police (1940).  As a bonus, we have two final photos from that film, featuring Preston Foster.

Here's a beautiful shot of Mylène Demongeot from Vladimir.

July 20, 2010

We pick up where we left off, with three more exceptional scans from North West Mounted Police (1940), featuring, Madeleine Carroll, Gary Cooper, Paulette Goddard, and Preston Foster.  These were carefully prepared by Chris.

Clement sent us a delightful shot of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939).

Next, we have a nice color photo of John Payne, courtesy of EM.

We've added two more radio program series:  The Charlotte Greenwood Program and Frontier Fighters.

We end with a picture of Simone Simon sent to us by Michel.  The girl with the homonymic first and last names deserves a double sigh!

July 17, 2010

Chris comes through once again with some fine scans:

July 14, 2010

David sent us ten photos from the camp classic Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1953), with Boris Karloff tormenting the Boys.

Chris has another photo of Ida Lupino in Anything Goes (1936).  He added a bonus shot of Ethel Merman from the same film.

July 8, 2010

Chris returns with some new offerings:

Elisabeth sent us two nice western-themed pairings:

We end with a scan of (blonde!) Ann Miller and Betty Jane Rhodes from Priorities on Parade (1942), courtesy of Chris.  Thanks to Robert and Ricardo for identifying the film.
