November 2014 Updates

December 2014

Peter sent us another photo of Jean Simmons in Until They Sail (1957).

Here is an exciting still from The Black Swan (1942), featuring Maureen O'Hara, Tyrone Power, Jr., Anthony Quinn, and George Sanders.  Thanks to Michelle and Sarah for this gorgeous scan.

We have two more photos from Peter:

Diana sent us a photo of 1950s and 60s television and film star Dianne Foster.

Enjoy this beautiful color photo of Joan Leslie, who's all ready for winter out on the ski slopes.

Jedwar identified an existing picture of Dorothy Lamour from Donovan's Reef (1963).

Here is pretty Belinda Lee with funnyman Benny Hill in Who Done It? (1956).  Ricardo also identified an existing picture of her from Footsteps in the Fog (1955).

Peter returns with a shot of languorous Olivia de Havilland.

Ricardo closes things out with a lovely shot of Jeanette MacDonald in The Merry Widow (1934).  He also identified an existing picture of Maureen O'Hara from The Fallen Sparrow (1943).

Sarah and Michelle prepared a pretty scan of Marlene Dietrich, originally sent to us by Peter.

More from Peter:

Here are Ronald Colman and Elizabeth Allan in A Tale of Two Cities (1935).

Next up, pretty Brenda Joyce, sans jungle and Cheeta.

Gail Davis makes her debut on the site, as Annie Oakley in the popular 1950s television series.

June Haver spurns Robert Karnes' advances in Scudda-Hoo! Scudda-Hay! (1948).

We end with a seductive pose by Jayne Mansfield, courtesy of Ricardo.

I came across a fabulous website:  A Certain Cinema.  It is replete with thousands of gorgeous photos, organized by name, year, category, and many searchable "tags."  I do hope you will visit them soon.  SÚrgio, who maintains the site, even identified one of my existing Maria Montez photos from Gypsy Wildcat (1944).
