Groucho plays footsy in the first of three new Marx Brothers pictures from Animal Crackers.  He's also airlifted in as the famous African explorer in the second picture.

We've got two new Bette Davis pictures from The Sisters.

There's also a film clip from Scarlet Street, starring Joan Bennett.

Finally, a new John Wayne picture appears, from an unknown movie.  Does anyone know the film, and his lovely picnic companion's name?

There's a new Bette Davis picture from Now Voyager.

We added a picture of Charlie Chaplin from A Jitney Elopement, as well as a film clip from The Smiling Lieutenant with Claudette Colbert.

A vacuuming Harpo Marx squares off with Sig Ruman in A Night in Casablanca.  This photo set the record for scratches, pockmarks, water stains, gashes, spots, gouges, and other assorted blemishes.  After seven hours of retouching, we're happy with the final result―and relieved to be able to move on to another picture.

We also have a solo picture of Chico Marx from the same film.

We present a new picture and accompanying film clip today:  Lillian Gish in the dramatic banishment scene from Way Down East, directed by D.W. Griffith.  In this photo, Griffith apparently is demonstrating how he wants the scene played (he doesn't appear in the film).  Squire Bartlett (played by Burr McIntosh) has found out about Anna's (Gish's) past and sends her out into the night.  Notice Lowell Sherman (the mean bad guy!), far right, casually observing the proceedings.

More Clara Bow!  A picture from Her Wedding Night.  There are also two new Marx Brothers pictures from A Night at the Opera (Chico and Groucho, and Groucho in the balcony with Margaret Dumont and Sig Ruman).

We've got two new Betty Grable pictures from Sweet Rosie O'Grady.

Harp and piano too?  Harpo Marx demonstrates his musicality and whimsy in this scene from A Night at the Opera.  We've also got Groucho riding the luggage cart, from the same movie.

More Errol Flynn―two new pictures from The Charge of the Light Brigade.

We've also added a new Bette Davis picture from The Man Who Came to Dinner.

We start off August with a romantic picture of Maria Montez and frequent co-star Jon Hall.  Can anyone tell us which movie this photo is from?
