Enjoy two more scans of Edward Everett Horton:

  • Shall We Dance (1937), with fidgety Eric Blore - We forgot to include this photo in the August 13 update

  • The Body Disappears (1941), with Charles Halton and local produce man Romaine Callender

We added a nice shot of Fred Astaire performing his famous drum dance solo in Ziegfeld Follies (1946).  Thanks to Enrique for the movie ID.  This is an improved version of the original scan.

Finally an update.  We've been doing lots of site maintenance, including fixing broken links, attributing photos to their films, and fixing "flipped" photos (horizontally turned 180º the wrong way).  Thanks to Enrique for the many corrections he sent in.

Today we showcase character actor Edward Everett Horton, who popped up in numerous 1930s and 40s movies.  He had an perpetual worried countenance, but things usually worked out fine in the end.

Thanks to Karl for these varied and representative photos of Eddie!
